Spring ushered in another delightful girls' weekend, much needed after spending time with family over the holidays and being cooped up indoors during winter.

We decided to stay close to home and have a little fun at a stay-cation at The Renaissance Milwaukee West Hotel in Wauwatosa a chic, modern retreat that blends upscale design with local flair. Located just steps from Mayfair Mall and a short drive from downtown Milwaukee, this 12-story hotel offers 196 thoughtfully designed rooms and suites. Each room features floor-to-ceiling windows, pillowtop beds, mini-fridges (a must have on any trip!).

This trip we had two fun themes for attire THINK PINK and THAT'S THAT ME ESPRESSO - we had a group chat and a Pinterest Board to share inspiration and set the vibes *teehee*

After a little time to unpack we kicked things off with a salad potluck all the girls brought in a different type of salad and it turned out super fun! We then dived into our craft time and I surprised the girls with a charm bar! They knew we were making bracelets but the charm bracelets was a fun little add on. We had some great conversations while making our bracelets. Fun fact you can learn a lot by asking the questions like "If you could have any superpower what would it be?" and "If you could be any animal what would it be and why?" It also helps when you have a Stephanie who will take the question several steps deeper!

Some of the girls kept crafting during free time- I personally poured a nice glass a wine and called dibs on the wonderful walking in shower/tub combo. I enjoyed a wonderful mellow time while listening to my audio book.

All the girls then got ready for our wonderful evening ahead! Changing into their THAT'S THAT ME ESPRESSO attire we all joined together to open the weekend goodie bags. The goodie bag portion of the weekend is to feature additional local businesses. I was also also to giveaway one of the bags and the winner has since received their bag! Thank you again to:

Before dinner I convinced everyone to learn a TikTok dance! Considering we had just about 20 minutes to learn it I would say not to shabby!!! Plus we had a hoot doing it.

For dinner we had reservations at the hotel's restaurant Eldr + Rime. Eldr+Rime offers a dining experience that beautifully marries modern American cuisine with Nordic influences. The restaurant's name, translating to "Fire + Ice" from Old Norse, encapsulates its culinary philosophy: dishes are crafted using both wood-fired grills and chilled raw bar techniques, creating a harmonious balance of flavors and textures .

The ambiance at Eldr+Rime is both sophisticated and inviting, featuring Scandinavian-inspired design elements that foster a warm and communal atmosphere. We had a wonderful time from our drinks to trying new items snow crab, duck and lamb being a first time dish for many of us.

The following morning, most of us slept in, but two of us made our way to the well-equipped gym on the top floor. After our workout, we enjoyed a DIY breakfast in our room and then recorded one last fun video before saying our final goodbyes. Although this girls' weekend was brief, lasting just 24 hours, it was packed with fun. "Until next time" ;)
